Vacation Burglary

On August 18th, Fairview Township Police responded to a home that had been burglarized on Farm House Lane, Camp Hill. The homeowners had been away on vacation and discovered the burglary when they returned. Entry was made to the home by forcing open a rear door. Jewelry and foreign coins were stolen from the residence. If anyone has any information on this incident, they are asked to contact us at (717) 901-5267.

This is the second burglary within a week in Fairview Township where the homeowners were away on vacation. We would like to remind residents that they can fill out the on-line form or call our department to let us know when they are going to be away for an extended period of time. The vacation check service we provide is not a guarantee against theft or property damage, but it is another set of eyes to help prevent crimes from occurring. We also highly recommend arranging for someone stay at your home while away, or having trusted neighbors, family or friends also check on your home.
