Traffic Stop leads to Arrest

Around 3:40 a.m. on August 19th, Fairview Township Police stopped a black GMC Yukon for a red light violation that occurred at the intersection of Keystone Drive and Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland. The driver was 37-year old Shelton Lamont Anderson from the 300blk of Emerald Street, Harrisburg. Checks on Anderson revealed that he had two warrants out of Harrisburg city. During a search of Anderson and the vehicle, over a quarter-pound of marijuana was discovered. Anderson was turned over to Harrisburg Police on the outstanding warrants, with charges pending on the drug violation.
