On October 10th around 10:30 p.m., Fairview Township Police were called to an address in the 500 block of Old Trail Court, Etters, for a domestic dispute. According to the victim, he and his girlfriend, 41-yr old Tina M. Ramos with whom he lives with at that location, got into an argument. At one point, they were in separate rooms inside the residence when Ramos kicked in the bedroom door where the victim was located. He stated that she began punching him in the face and hitting him with a TV remote control. When he tried to restrain her, the victim states that Ramos then bit his arm. Police observed injuries on the victim that were consistent with the alleged assault. Ramos did not claim that the victim assaulted her during the incident and police did not see any injuries on her. Police placed Ramos under arrest for Simple Assault and Harassment, at which time she threatened to have the officers fired because she is related to powerful people in York County. Ramos was taken to the York County Booking Center to be processed and arraigned on the charges.
UPDATE: After a negotiated plea agree agreement with the York County District Attorney’s Office, on July 17, 2013 Ramos plead guilty to the summary Harassment charge and the Simple Assault was dropped by the prosecution.
