On October 12, Fairview Township Police arrested 30-yr old Chad Ginter from Highland Street in Steelton, for making threats towards his ex-girlfriend. At 4:10 a.m., the ex-girlfriend called police to her residence on Windy Way, New Cumberland. She advised that Ginter was outside pounding on her house and yelling that he was going to kill her. Ginter’s vehicle was still there when police arrived, but he was not. There was some minor damage to the residence from Ginter pounding on the house. A short time later, they found Ginter nearby and he was taken into custody. He was charged with Terroristic Threats, Harassment by Communication, and Criminal Mischief. Ginter was arraigned on his charges and was given $10,000 bail.
This is Ginter’s second arrest in less than a month in Fairview Township. He had also been charged with Stalking and Stalking by Communication resulting from another incident reported to Fairview Township Police by the same victim on September 25th.
