Piatt-Rainville Arrested / One Vehicle Accident Sends Four Teens to the Hospital

**UPDATE** On November 20,2012, Fairview Township Police Department concluded their investigation involving this vehicle accident.  An arrest warrant was issued for the driver, 19 year old Tyler A. Piatt-Rainville of New Cumberland.  Piatt-Rainville has been  charged with DUI-Controlled Substance, Aggravated Assault with Vehicle while DUI, Reckless Driving and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.  Piatt-Rainville was transported to York County Booking Center for arraignment and processing.

Police are investigating a one vehicle accident that occurred around 9:40 p.m. on October 23rd in the 400 block of Old York Road, New Cumberland. Witnesses reported that they saw the white GMC Yukon traveling South when the vehicle swerved and went over an embankment, landing on it’s roof. The vehicle was occupied by four teenagers. The driver, 19-yr old Tyler Piatt-Rainville from New Cumberland, and two juvenile passengers were taken to Hershey Medical Center. The fourth juvenile was transported to York Hospital. Police are still investigating whether drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor.
