On Monday March 11th, Fairview Township Police arrested four individuals from Harrisburg for drug and other related charges at the Travel Inn, 300 Commerce Drive, New Cumberland.
Police, with the assistance of members from the York County Drug Task Force, served a search warrant on a room at the motel for suspected drug activity. The investigation ultimately led them to search a second room as well. The search yielded over 350 bags of heroin that had a street value of $5,200.00, a small amount of marijuana, two handguns- one of which was stolen from Susquehanna Township, and over $2,500.00 in cash.
Arrested were: 25-yr old Juan Berdecia-Lozada and 25-yr old Keissy Lopez-Figueroa, both from Mt.Pleasant Avenue in Harrisburg; and 26-yr old Pedro Gonzalez-Quinones and 23-yr old Yamirca Dejesus-Nieves, both from Derry Street in Harrisburg. All four were charged with Possessing a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Criminal Conspiracy. In addition, Gonzalez-Quinones was charged with possessing a stolen firearm and Dejesus-Nieves was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana. All subjects were taken to the York County Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
