On October 3, 2013 at 10:04 pm the Fairview Township Police Department was dispatched to a report of a one vehicle crash in the 800 block of Siddonsburg Road.
On arrival, police discovered that the driver of the vehicle was 20 year old Noah M. Julius of Hoffman Road in East Berlin. It was discovered that Julius was heading west on Siddonsburg Road when he attempted to negotiate a curve in the road. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and into a field where it came to rest.
While police were interviewing Julius about the circumstances of the crash, he told the investigating officer several times to take him to jail. When the officer asked him why, Julius replied “for driving drunk”. The officer administered sobriety testing to Julius, which he failed. He was then arrested for DUI.
Julius was then transported to the York County Judicial Center for a legal test of blood as well as arrest processing and arraignment.
