Harrisburg Man Arrested for Stealing from Vehicles

The Fairview Township Police Department arrested 22 year old Jordan Keys, of the 3300 block of Jonagold Drive in Harrisburg, for Theft from a Motor Vehicle and Loitering and Prowling at Nighttime.

On March 19, 2014 at 10:54 pm police were dispatched to the 600 block of Copper Circle.  Two resident in the area were watching a subject in dark clothing breaking into vehicles.  He was to be going from driveway to driveway entering or trying to enter multiple vehicles.

Upon arrival, police spotted the individual who fled on foot.  A short time later, police spotted him trying to leave the area in a vehicle.  Officers initiated a traffic stop.  Keys was identified as the subject who was entering vehicles and then ran from police.

Keys was transported to the York County Booking Center for processing and arraignment.  He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Jeff Joy and committed to York County Prison in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.
