On May 29, 2014 the Fairview Township Police Department arrested 48 year old Kenneth Hannah of Stapleton, Georgia for Simple Assault, Harassment and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following an incident at the Scottish Inn on Commerce Drive.
At 4:00 am police were dispatched to the reported assault. The victim advised that after spending time with Hannah at the hotel, she attempted to leave. Hannah grabbed her and threw her down. He then choked her and threatened her with a knife. While the victim attempted to defend herself, Hannah bit her on the wrist. The victim was then able to flee the hotel.
Police then responded to the room where they took Hannah into custody. At the time of arrest, Hannah was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hannah was transported to the York County Booking Center where he was processed and arraigned. He was committed to York County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
