The Fairview Township Police Department is investigating a pair of residential burglaries that occurred within the last week. One of them involved a stolen vehicle.
On June 6, 2014 police responded to the 900 block of Silver Lake Road. The resident advised that she had been gone for several days. Upon returning home, she found the back door to her residence forced open. This occurred between June 2 and June 6. The only thing found to be missing was money.
On June 10, 2014 police responded to the 300 block of Pleasant View Road. The resident advised that sometime between 12:00 am and 7:00 am someone had gained entry to the detached garage at his residence. Taken in this incident was the resident’s 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The truck was charcoal in color and had a fiberglass cap over the bed.
