Hearing Held For Man Accused of Indecent Exposure and Open Lewdness

On August 6, 2014 a preliminary hearing was held in front of Magisterial District Judge Scott Gross for 60 year old James R. Benjamin who was facing charges of Indecent Exposure and Open Lewdness stemming from an incident in June of 2014.  Benjamin, of the 800 block of Fishing Creek Road, was charged following an investigation of an incident where a male was observed standing along Fishing Creek Road completely naked.

On June 28, 2014 at 10:00 pm police responded to the area of Fishing Creek Road at Lewisberry Road for two calls where the complainants reported seeing a white male standing along Fishing Creek Road naked and in full view of passing motorists.  He was standing in a position where the headlights of passing cars would shine directly on him.

Police were able to develop Benjamin as a suspect and he was positively identified by the two witnesses as the subject seen standing along the road.  Judge Gross bound all charges over for trial.
