On Friday, August 15 the Fairview Township Police Department arrested 32 year old Nicole A. Desimone of Ashburg Drive in Mechanicsburg for Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief and DUI. The arrest came after a pair of incidents involving Desimone.
On Thursday, August 14 police were dispatched to the mobile home park at 594 Old York Road for a report of a Burglary. Desimone used to reside at the residence, but had moved out. On this date, she returned and gained entry to the mobile home. While inside she did significant damage to contents within the home.
On Friday, August 15 police were dispatched back to the same address. It was reported that Desimone was to be back at the home. Upon police arrival, Desimone was found to be parked outside the residence. She was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle with the engine off. When police attempted to speak to her, Desimone started her car and tried to drive away. It was also apparent to police that Desimone was under the influence of alcohol. Police restrained Desimone through the open driver’s window and were able to turn the car off. She was then taken into custody.
Desimone was transported to the York County Booking Center where she was arraigned for the Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief in front of Magisterial District Judge Barry Bloss. Desimone was given $10,000 cash bail and remanded to the York County Prison. Charges for the DUI are pending the results of her blood alcohol test.
