On August 23, 2014 at approximately 2:45 am the Fairview Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Miramar Street and Umberto Avenue for an unconscious male inside a car.
On arrival, police observed a man who they later identified as 32 year old Joshua P Ebur unconscious in the passenger side front seat of a vehicle. Also plainly visible in the car next to Ebur was drug paraphernalia. Once police were able to awaken Ebur, they discovered he was also in possession of marijuana.
When police attempted to take Ebur into custody, he pulled away and began to run. Police tasered Ebur twice before they were able to apprehend him after he ran into the Yellow Breeches Creek.
Ebur was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest. He was transported to the York County Booking Center where he was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Keith Albright. Ebur was released on $5,000 unsecured, supervised bail.
