Animal Control

The Police department handles issue with domestic animals (cats and dogs) and we respond to residents complaints of these animals running at large and for incidents of animal bites.

Please remember to keep your dogs on your property and have them properly licensed. This is required under state law and violations may result in a fine.

The Police Department has a contract with the SPCA of York County and you can contact them at 764-6109 or www.ycspca.com. Residents of Fairview Township can take any stray dog or cat to the SPCA at no charge to our residents.

 

Game/Wild Animals: Fairview Township residents who have issues with wild animals should contact the PA Game Commission (717) 787-4250
