Public Relations & Community Events

The Fairview Township Police Department regularly participates in community activities.

Please contact the Department if you would like a Police Officer to attend your community event or meeting.

DARE PROGRAM

The Police Department is active with the DARE program and coordinates DARE activities with the West Shore School District. We provide the DARE program to 5th grade students attending Fishing Creek and Fairview Elementary Schools. We have plans underway to add some drug awareness presentations at Crossroads Middle School.

The current DARE officers are: Officer William Buzzard (wbuzzard@fairviewpolice.org) and Officer Andrew Paul (apaul@fairviewpolice.org).

PARK & WALK

This initiative which began in 2000 promotes all Fairview Township Police Officers to make regular visits to all of the schools in Fairview Township. We feel it is very important to visit the schools on occasions when we are not just called there for a problem. So residents and students will see our police cars parked in front of the following schools on a regular basis. Most times we are conducting a park & walk visit.

Red Land High School, Crossroads Middle School and Fishing Creek, Fairview and Mt. Zion Elementary Schools.
